Inter have reached an agreement in principle with Napoli over the transfer of Matteo Politano and now Napoli need to try and agree terms with the player according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

The clubs have agreed terms over an 18 month loan deal, which Napoli will pay Inter €5 million for, and there is an obligation to buy set at €20 million attached.

It still has to be decided between the clubs whether or not Fernando Llorente will be included in the deal. If he is, it will stop Olivier Giroud from joining but if he is not, Giroud will join Inter.

The report goes on to state that Politano’s representatives have told Napoli that they want a four year contract with an annual salary of €2.5 million for their client.

Napoli are however willing to offer him an initial salary of €1.8 million that will rise to €2 million over the duration of his contract.

The Milan based newspaper go on to add that Roma and Sevilla could well swoop in for Politano due to the difference between Politano’s demands and Napoli’s offer.
