Napoli may lose Brazilian midfielder Allan in the upcoming summer transfer window, with Inter potentially ready to send Matias Vecino down to Naples in exchange for the Brazilian, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how the 29-year-old Brazilian midfielder is currently unhappy with the Partenopei, struggling this season under both previous coach Carlo Ancelotti and current coach Gennaro Gattuso. Despite his disappointing season so far, Inter and other interested clubs still appreciate the qualities of the player and are looking to acquire him.

However, due to his high worth, a deal for Allan won’t appear until the summer, the report continues. With less than a week until the end of the January transfer window, a deal now would take too long to complete. The Nerazzurri would be happy to send Vecino down to Naples in exchange for Allan, due to the fact that the Uruguayan midfielder isn’t considered vital to coach Antonio Conte’s project.
