Inter Have Reached An Agreement With Napoli Regarding Matteo Politano

Inter have reached an agreement with Napoli regarding Italian striker Matteo Politano, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how the Nerazzurri and Napoli have reached an agreement for a loan deal with an obligation to buy attached. The agreed upon figure is €25 million, with Inter CEO Beppe Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio keen to ensure that they would earn this fee, only offering a minimal discount if needed. The player will sign a contract that will tie him to the club until 2024.

Politano has struggled at Inter this season, with coach Antonio Conte not being convinced by the 26-year-old Italian. He has made 15 appearances across all competitions for a total of 315 minutes, failing to score or provide an assist in that time. Last season Politano scored six goals and provided six assists in 48 appearances across all competitions.
