In an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, journalist Maurizio Compagnoni has spoken on Inter’s recent additions of Victor Moses and Ashley Young from Chelsea and Manchester United respectively.

“With the signings of Moses and Young, Inter have strengthened their wings a lot,” he began.

He proceeded to speak on Inter’s pursuit of Tottenham Hotspur star Christian Eriksen.

“Until a couple of years ago he was one of the top four or five players in the world, then he had a downturn in form. There is no doubt though that he can get back to his past levels as he is only 27.

“It will not be easy for him to fit in easy tactically at Inter though. At Spurs he was never a regista and he played as an attacking midfielder or out on the left wing in a three man attack.

“Eriksen is a good investment for Inter. When Conte says there is no money, it is not true. They are paying €20 million to sign him and then giving him a four year deal with a salary of €10 million.

“Young and Moses are not on peanuts either. Suning are doing their best. Conte’s appeals have been listened too.”
