A report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport has analysed what Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen will bring to Inter.

The report details how the 27-year-old Danish midfielder is known for his quick and dangerous balls in attacking movements, the kind of passes that will further assist the attacking partnership of Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez. Coach Antonio Conte is not known for including a trequartista in his tactical system, not with Inter or with the Italian national team earlier in his career.

Considering Eriksen’s role, the report continues, there is a chance that Conte will change the formation from 3-5-2 to 3-4-1-2 to include the Dane. In this system, the 27-year-old would be able to quickly take the ball from the midfield duo of Stefano Sensi and Nicolo Barella and play in either Lautaro or Lukaku, if not going for goal himself. The player has scored 69 goals in 305 games in North London.
