A report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport has examined Inter’s potential line-up for their league clash against Cagliari tomorrow.
The report details how Italian midfielder Roberto Gagliardini and Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic will both be unavailable for tomorrow’s game against the Sardinian side. Both midfielders didn’t train with the squad yesterday, instead following a personalised schedule. The 25-year-old Italian is still suffering from a bruised foot.
The midfield department is even more reduced considering Antonio Candreva is suspended due to reaching five yellow cards in the league, the report highlights. Englishman Ashley Young may make his first start on the right-hand side. 20-year-old Italian defender Alessandro Bastoni is also likely to start over veteran defender Diego Godin.
Probabile Inter Line-up (3-5-2): Samir Handanovic; Milan Skriniar, Stefan De Vrij, Alessandro Bastoni; Ashley Young, Nicolo Barella, Borja Valero, Stefano Sensi, Cristiano Biraghi; Lautaro Martinez, Romelu Lukaku.
