Romelu Lukaku has joined several other sporting stars in taking to social media platform Instagram to mourn the tragic loss of basketball superstar Kobe Bryant.
Bryant, who was a two time MVP award winner during his career, tragically lost his life in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California on Sunday, a crash which also claimed the life of his daughter Gianna and the rest of the passengers travelling on board.
Bryant is widely regarded as one of the best basketball players of all time and was a massive inspiration for many, including Lukaku.
“My biggest sports idol is this man right here. Your work ethic and mentality inspired me so much from as soon i understood what it took to become a pro. You were enjoying your new chapter in your life and to leave us just like that is devastating.. i love you so much! You the goat,” he posted.
