According to a report in today’s print edition of Il Giornale, Napoli are keen on signing Inter youngster Sebastiano Esposito on loan.

With Dries Mertens out injured, the Stadio San Paolo club are said to be on the look-out for another striker in order to bolster their attacking department for the second half of the season.

They have seemingly identified Esposito as a possible signing but as per the report, Inter deem the 17-year-old sensation, who is widely regarded as one of the brightest talents of his generation, non-transferable.

The report from the Milan based newspaper goes on to state that the arrival of a new attacker at Napoli could well free up Fernando Llorente.

Inter have drawn links to the 34-year-old Spaniard in recent weeks as they look to bolster their own attacking department.

Llorente is not the only player Inter have been linked to though. As per other reports, Inter have also shown a strong interest in Chelsea’s Olivier Giroud whilst Leicester City’s Islam Slimani has been linked in recent days too.
