Stefano Sensi will lose his starting berth in the Inter team to make way for new recruit Christian Eriksen according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

Sensi is the most likely candidate to lose his place due to the fact he is the midfielder most similar to Eriksen out of Inter’s crop of midfielders.

The Italian international will not become completely useless however and will be the team’s 12th man due to the fact he is able to play in a range of roles including mezzala and regista.

The report from the Turin based newspaper goes on to report that it remains to be seen if Inter manager Antonio Conte will continue to deploy his side in the 3-5-2 system he almost always has this season or if he will opt to change to a 3-4-1-2 in order to allow Eriksen to play in his natural attacking midfield role.
