Mauro Icardi – Paris Saint Germain: Icardi played all of PSG’s 1-0 Coupe de France win over Lorient and played 73 minutes in their 2-0 win over Lille on Sunday night. The 26-year-old Argentine was however unable to add to his goals or assists tallies for the season. These were the third and fourth games in a row where he failed to find the back of the net.

Ivan Perisic – Bayern Munich: Perisic grabbed himself an assist for the second game running as he assisted one of the five goals Bayern Munich scored in their resounding 5-0 Bundesliga win over Schalke. Perisic was successful in 40% of his dribble attempts and 36% of his cross attempts. With this result, Bayern moved within a point of going top spot after RB Leipzig slipped up and lost.

Radja Nainggolan – Cagliari: The 31-year-old scored his side’s only goal of the game as they drew 1-1 with Inter. The Belgian’s goal came with thanks to a little help from a deflection off of Alessandro Bastoni and the post. He succeeded in all five of his dribble attempts, had an 87% pass completion rate and made three interceptions too.

Dalbert – Fiorentina: Dalbert missed his side’s goalless draw with Fiorentina as he served an automatic one match suspension due to an accumulation of yellow cards.

Joao Mario – Lokomotiv Moscow: Joao Mario played his first football in a good few months as he featured in some of Lokomotiv Moscow’s winter-break friendlies. Lokomotiv Moscow are back in league action in a week and a half.

Ionut Andrei Radu – Genoa: Radu was an unused substitute as Genoa drew 0-0 against Fiorentina on Saturday. The Romanian international shot-stopper has drawn links with Nice in the past few days and as per reports, he could be set to join them on an 18 month loan deal.

Andrea Pinamonti – Genoa: Pinamonti made his first appearance in a few weeks as he came off the substitutes bench in Genoa’s goalless draw away to Fiorentina. The 20-year-old striker played 27 minutes of the match and could have won the match for the Rossoblu right at the death but he failed to convert a one-on-one chance.

Yann Karamoh – Parma: Karamoh did not feature in Parma’s 2-0 triumph over Udinese but his social media activity would suggest a return to action after a lengthy injury lay-off is not far away. In the past few days he has posted clips of himself back in training.

Valentino Lazaro – Newcastle United: The Austrian international defender completed a loan move to the Premier League side on January 24. He was however not in the squad for the FA Cup match against Oxford United. He could however make his debut for the Magpies this weekend when they play host to Norwich City.
