Inter centre back Andrea Ranocchia has taken to photo sharing social media platform to celebrate after Inter’s 2-1 win over Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia quarter finals.

The 21 time Italian international defender made just his fourth appearance to date across all competitions as Inter saw off their fellow Serie A side to secure their spot in the semi finals.

Antonio Candreva gave Inter the lead in the first half but Martin Caceres put the teams back level on the hour mark. Nicolo Barella scored what proved to be the winning goal for Inter minutes later with a sweet half volley from outside the box.

“We have taken another step forward! Now we must turn our heads to the league,” he posted.
