Eriksen Likely Going To Make First Inter Start Against Udinese

Christian Eriksen is likely going to be handed his first start since joining Inter in this weekend’s Serie A match away to Udinese according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Milan based newspaper rate Eriksen’s chances of starting over Matias Vecino against the Bianconeri club at 60% and Eriksen will be one of several changes Inter manager Antonio Conte should make.

Due to injuries, Conte was forced to change from his tried and tested 3-5-2 system against Fiorentina on Wednesday night to a 3-4-1-2 but Conte will revert back to the 3-5-2 with him set to recover several players.

Milan Skriniar and Stefan de Vrij, who have both had fever like symptoms lately, will return in place of Diego Godin and Andrea Ranocchia in the defence.

Ashley Young will be deployed at right wing back whilst Cristiano Biraghi will come back into the side and play at left wing back and Marcelo Brozovic will return in midfield after missing the team’s past two matches due to injury.
