Inter are monitoring Samuel Umtiti with a view to making a Summer transfer window swoop for him according to a report from TuttoMercatoWeb.
The French international centre back has found playing time with reigning Spanish champions Barcelona very limited this season and for this reason Inter are considering a possible move for him in the coming months.
The 2018 World Cup winner, who joined the Blaugrana back in the Summer of 2016 from French outfit Lyon, has been limited to just 10 appearances across all competitions to date this term. He has made no goal contributions but has helped Barcelona keep three clean sheets in that time.
Umtiti is under contract with the Nou Camp club for another three and a half seasons still but if his playing situation does not change between now and the end of the season he may well end up considering his future with the club and look for a move elsewhere where he can get more game time.
