Hellas Verona coach Ivan Juric spoke to gathered reporters at a press conference yesterday, ahead of today’s league clash between the Gialloblu and AC Milan.

He discussed Inter owned defender Federico Dimarco, who joined the Veneto based club on loan last month. His words were noted by Italian media outlet FcInterNews.

“It’s not easy to get into the system right away. Dimarco has come from Inter and he’s good because Conte works so hard. They are excellent players.”

The 22-year-old Italian joined the Veneto based club on a six-month loan deal with a buy option attached. He struggled to convince coach Antonio Conte of his abilities this season, only making four appearances across all competitions for a total of 102 minutes. He only made one start all season for the Nerazzurri.

Last season Dimarco was on loan with Parma, where he impressed and showed off his potential. He made 14 appearances across all competitions for a total of 962 minutes, where he scored one goal in that time. He missed 18 games in a row in the league through injury after suffering a tear in the abductor muscle.
