Italian Report Praises Lukaku After He Stars In Inter’s Win Over Udinese

In today’s print edition, Gazzetta dello Sport have heaped praise on Romelu Lukaku after his performance in Inter’s 2-0 away victory against Udinese yesterday.

The Belgian international striker, who joined Inter in a club record transfer from Manchester United this past Summer, netted his 19th and 20th goals of the season across all competitions in the match at the Stadio Fruili.

The 26-year-old, in the eyes of the Milan based newspaper, was Inter’s best performer on the night as evidenced by the 7.5 rating they gave him in their player ratings from the match in Udine.

Alexis Sanchez and Nicolo Barella were Inter’s next best performers with them both being handed a rating of 7 for their performances.

Stefan De Vrij, Ashley Young and Marcelo Brozovic all got 6.5 whilst Daniele Padelli, Victor Moses, Milan Skriniar and Alessandro Bastoni all got 6.

Matias Vecino and Christian Eriksen both got 5.5 whilst the worst performance came from 17-year-old striker Sebastiano Esposito, who Gazzetta gave half marks to.
