Inter Owned Perisic’s Ankle Injury Could Cost Him The Chance Of Permanent Move To Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich are unlikely to take up their option to sign on loan Inter winger Ivan Perisic on a permanent basis after he broke his ankle in training according to a report from the online edition of Milan based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Perisic joined the reigning German champions on a season long loan deal from the Nerazzurri this past Summer and as part of the deal Bayern secured a €20 million option to buy.

Perisic is set to face at least a few months out on the sidelines as a result of the injury he sustained in training and as per the report, there is a strong chance that the Bundesliga outfit will not sign him up permanently as a result.

The 31-year-old winger has featured in 22 games across all competitions to date during his spell with the Bavarian club, in which he has scored five goals and provided eight assists.
