AC Milan manager Stefano Pioli will have Zlatan Ibrahimovic at his disposal for this weekend’s Derby della Madonnina with Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

The veteran Swedish striker missed the Rossoneri’s last game with the flu and has also been suffering from muscle fatigue but has and will continue to manage his body prudently between now and Sunday night’s match at San Siro.

Ibrahimovic is not wanting to overdo things and risk hurting himself ahead of the match and is slowly building up his workload in training.

He did some training on the field yesterday and between today and tomorrow he should join up for full training with the rest of his teammates.

His return will come as a welcome boost to Pioli due to the fact that since Ibrahimovic’s return in January, AC Milan have not lost a single game that he has played in.
