Inter will have to fight off competition from top clubs around Europe for the signature of 20-year-old Albanian defender Marash Kumbulla, according to a report from Italian media outlet Calciomercato.com today.

The report details how there were scouts from Premier League sides Manchester United and Manchester City, as well as German side Borussia Dortmund, all in attendance for Hellas Verona’s league clash against Juventus yesterday evening. The 20-year-old showed off his defensive prowess in the game, which his side ended up winning 2-1.

Inter have already reached an agreement with Kumbulla, the report continues, securing an initial yes last month. The Nerazzurri are looking to sign the player in the upcoming summer transfer window but will also have to fight off Napoli for his signature. Inter are currently in the lead for his services in the summer, however.

The player has made 18 appearances across all competitions so far this season for the Gialloblu.
