Samir Handanovic will miss at least Inter’s next two games due to injury according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Slovenian goalkeeper sustained a hairline fracture to the small finger in his left hand in training little over a week ago and has already missed Inter’s last two games.

Due to Handanovic’s situation, Inter are weighing up the possibility of making a move for free agent shot-stopper Emialiano Vivivano to provide some cover.

Viviano underwent and passed a medical with the club yesterday but Inter are still deciding whether to tie him down to a contract or not and will take at least another day to reflect on things.

If they do go onto sign Viviano, the former Sampdoria man will initially be Daniele Padelli’s back-up and it would be possible for Inter to include him as a temporary replacement for Handanovic on their UEFA list for a month.
