Inter management will provide Emiliano Viviano with an answer as to whether they are to employ him or not before they travel to Rome for this weekend’s Serie A match away to Lazio according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.

Viviano has been training with the Nerazzurri club for the past few days due to Inter being down a goalkeeper due to the injury of number one, Samir Handanovic.

Handanovic has sustained a hairline fracture to the small finger in his left hand and has missed Inter’s past two games. With him expected to miss yet more games, Inter brought Viviano in to train with the club with the possibility of signing him up to provide some more cover.

Viviano has been without a club since September when he left Portuguese giants Sporting, as a result he is not in top condition.

The report goes on to conclude that Handanovic should return at the end of this month.
