Spanish media are convinced that Barcelona’s interest in signing Inter striker Lautaro Martinez is growing so much so that they could attempt a move for him this coming Summer.

Lautaro Martinez has a €111 million release clause in his current contract with Inter meaning Barcelona could entirely skip negotiations with Inter but the reports warn that before they can think of moving for the Argentine, they have to raise a sum of no less than €124 million for Financial Fair Play purposes before June 30.

This amount could be entirely cleared if Bayern Munich take up their €120 million option to buy Phillipe Coutinho but for the time being it appears a remote possibility thus meaning Barcelona have to work out other ways to raise all that money.

Rafinha, Arturo Vidal, Ivan Rakitic, Nelson Semedo and Arda Turan could all be sold as could several young prospects.

This season Lautaro has made 28 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has netted 16 goals which has led to many clubs aside from Barcelona also sparking an interest in signing him.
