Inter are not expected to extend their current main shirt sponsorship agreement with Pirelli but could have the tyre giants sponsor them in other ways according to a report from Italian news outlet Prima Comunicazione.

Pirelli’s current contract with the Nerazzurri club is due to expire at the end of next season but an agreement could well be reached that would then see them sponsor the club’s training kit, which is currently sponsored by Inter’s club owners, Suning.

The report goes on to state that Inter’s next main shirt sponsorship deal is very likely to be with a Chinese company although it could be an American or English company.

Reports elsewhere in the Italian media in recent weeks and months have suggested that Chinese real estate company Evergrande Group could be Inter’s next main shirt sponsors and some reports have even suggested that there have been some exploratory talks between the parties.
