Inter and Roma are both very interested in signing Fiorentina central midfielder Gaetano Castrovilli according to a report from CalcioMercato.com.

Castrovilli has been one of the biggest revelations of the Serie A season this term and has quickly cemented himself as one of the best Italian midfield prospects and one of the best midfielders in the league.

The 22-year-old only recently signed a new four and a half year deal with La Viola which is due to expire at the end of the 2023/24 season and as a result of this, he is unlikely to come cheap.

Reports from elsewhere in recent months have also linked the likes of Juventus, Napoli and many Premier League and Bundesliga clubs with him.

This season Castrovilli has made 23 appearances across all competitions for Florence based, Fiorentina. In almost 2000 minutes on the field, Castrovilli has got on the score sheet three times and also provided two assists for his teammates.
