Barcelona have been in contact with Inter for some time over a move for Lautaro Martinez according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.

The Blaugrana club are very keen on signing the 22-year-old Argentine national team striker and are understood to see him as the long term replacement for the ageing Luis Suarez at the club.

Lautaro has a €111 million release clause in his current contract which ultimately leaves the club powerless if Barcelona, or any of the other clubs linked with him for that matter, offer that sum.

Real Madrid have also been linked with a move for him but the report goes on to state that they are far behind their arch rivals in the race to sign Lautaro.

Sky Sport Italia also go on to add that Barcelona are interested in more than just Lautaro from Inter and do in fact have an interest in defender Milan Skriniar and midfielder Stefano Sensi too.
