Inter Defender Milan Skriniar: “Tonight’s Match Against Lazio Wont Decide The Serie A Title”

Inter’s Slovakian international central defender Milan Skriniar stopped by Italian broadcaster RAI Sport moments ago to share his thoughts on tonight’s Serie A clash at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome where the Biancocelesti host the Nerazzurri, with kick-off scheduled for 20.45 CET.

The former Sampdoria player underlined that tonight’s clash between the two sides is not decisive for who wins the Serie A title but it is also not a match just like any other either.

“I don’t think it is a match that will decide the Serie A title. It will surely be a beautiful match, different from the others and we have to show the level we are at.”

Skriniar then went on to argue that Inter have to be weary of Lazio’s attacking players who could cause the Nerazzurri all sorts of problems.

“We have played many matches against Lazio, they are very dangerous in attack and we have to remain concentrated and pay attention.

“De Vrij is calm, he is a professional he is a strong player and there wont be a problem [for him to play against his old teammates].”

The Slovakian international central defender spent just one season with Sampdoria in Genoa before making the switch to Inter and Milan in the summer of 2017 for a reported fee of €20 million.

Since completing the move, Skriniar has featured 115 times across all competitions for the Nerazzurri scoring 4 goals in the process, but is yet to open his account this season.
