Inter’s Slovakian international central defender Milan Skriniar stopped by Italian broadcaster Inter TV moments ago to share his thoughts on tonight’s Serie A clash at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome where the Biancocelesti host the Nerazzurri, with kick-off scheduled for 20.45 CET.

The former Sampdoria player underlined that tonight’s clash between the two sides the Nerazzurri have a chance to make a statement by showcasing their full potential.

“It will be a very difficult match, very different from other matches we’ve played. In matches like these it is important for us to be able to show who we are as well as show the level we are able to play at.

“We have recovered in terms of energy even though we have not had a lot of time to do so, but we have many great players so it wont be a problem”

In conclusion Skriniar went on to state that Inter have to be weary of Lazio’s Ciro Immobile who is the Serie A’s top goalscorer right now with 25 goals.

“We have to remain concentrated and pay attention, the entire defense needs to speak up and be aggressive. I hope that we are able to do well tonight.”

The Slovakian international central defender spent just one season with Sampdoria in Genoa before making the switch to Inter and Milan in the summer of 2017 for a reported fee of €20 million.

Since completing the move, Skriniar has featured 115 times across all competitions for the Nerazzurri scoring 4 goals in the process, but is yet to open his account this season.
