Inter are keeping tabs on Pescara full back Gabriele Zappa with a view to a potential Summer transfer window move for him according to a report from CalcioMercato.com.

Zappa is in fact a product of the Inter academy and he was sold to his current employers just over a year ago, as part of the deal, Inter secured a buy back option which is set at €4 million.

The 20-year-old has impressed this season for Pescara, who presently find themselves in mid table in the Italian second tier.

The report goes on to state that several clubs from Serie A, none of whom are named, have made enquiries to the Delfini regarding Zappa’s availability.

This season Zappa has made a dozen appearances across all competitions to date. In little under 1000 minutes in total on the field, Zappa has contributed three goals, all of which have come in the past few matches.
