Luis Fernando Garcia, the agent of Chelsea full back Emerson Palmieri, has revealed that he is aware that both Inter and Juventus have an interest in signing his client.
The Brazilian has lost his starting spot at the Stamford Bridge club in recent weeks and it is for this reason that the two clubs are keeping a close eye on the situation of the 25-year-old.
Both clubs reportedly showed an interest in signing him in the recent January transfer window but both balked at Chelsea’s €40 million asking price for him which meant he ended up staying put at the Premier League club, who he joined back in the winter transfer window of 2018.
In an interview with juvenews.eu, Fernando Garcia explained both clubs are keen on his client but there have been no offers yet.
“We know very well about Juventus’ interest but Inter are also interested. So far there has been no talk of a transfer with Chelsea, nor has there been any official offers.
“I believe that until May there will be no official offers from the two clubs. In the summer we will decide what to do.”
This season the former Palermo player has made 18 appearances across all competitions to date. In 1341 minutes on the park, he has contributed a single assist.
