Inter manager Antonio Conte has admitted he feels the team is doing just fine, contrary to what a number of noted pundits and others have said in the days since the team’s 2-1 loss to fellow Serie A title challengers Lazio.

“The team is fine and will face the match in the right way. At the Olimpico there was the performance but not the result, there is no reason why the team should feel bad,” he explained in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia ahead of the Europa League round of 32 first leg clash with Ludogorets.

Inter are seen by many as massive favourites for tomorrow’s clash against the reigning Bulgarian champions and are widely expected to progress to the next round of the competition but Conte has insisted that it will not be easy for his side.

“This is another competition, we want to make a good impression, we want to face it with the right desire knowing that we face a tough opponent.”

Conte then went on to confirm that there will be some changes made to the side that started against Lazio for the match at the Ludogorets Arena in Razgrad, Bulgaria, tomorrow evening.

There will certainly be rotations, it is inevitable because we are playing a lot in a few days. It is right to give certain players the chance to play because they deserve it; the Europa League is a tough, tiring and tiring competition, but at the same time we have want to do well. Tomorrow the best training will go on the field ”

The former Italian national team manager was then asked if he has been studying a solution to insert Christian Eriksen into the team.

“I am studying English again [laughs]. I see too much anxiety from him and not enough calm. As for us as a club, we are calm.”
