Inter coach Antonio Conte is set to start the match in a 3-4-1-2 formation tomorrow in order to accommodate Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how the 27-year-old Danish midfielder is set to be deployed in the number 10 role in tomorrow’s league clash against Sampdoria, playing behind Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku and Argentine forward Lautaro Martinez.

Alternatively, Conte could decide to start the team in a 3-5-2 formation, with Uruguayan midfielder Matias Vecino starting ahead of Eriksen in that case.

Veteran defender Diego Godin will start ahead of either Alessandro Bastoni or Danilo D’Ambrosio, the report continues, alongside Milan Skriniar and Stefan De Vrij. Lautaro Martinez is likely to start ahead of Alexis Sanchez.

Probabile Inter (3-4-1-2): Daniele Padelli; Diego Godin, Stefan De Vrij, Milan Skriniar; Antonio Candreva, Nicolo Barella, Marcelo Brozovic, Ashley Young; Christian Eriksen; Romelu Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez.
