FIGC To Meet Tomorrow With Doctors To Discuss The Coronavirus & Italian National Team

The Italian football federation will meet with President Gabriele Gravina and doctors tomorrow morning to analyse the coronavirus situation and give precise indications about the Italian national teams, according to an official press statement on the FIGC website.

The statement details how the FIGC and the doctors will meet tomorrow morning in order to discuss the spread of the coronavirus. Professor Paolo Zeppilli, Professor Andrea Ferretti and Dr. Carmine Costabile, as well as Professor Roberto Cauda, Director of the Clinical Area and of the Complex Operating Unit of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases of the Policlinico Gemelli in Rome, will all meet to discuss the serious situation.

The meetings regarding the Men’s Under 19 squad and the Women’s national team have been postponed, the statement continues. Coach Roberto Mancini will not meet with the youth players for the time being.

Four Serie A games have been postponed today due to the fears of the spread of the coronavirus.
