Inter coach Antonio Conte briefly spent some time with Inter fans after this morning’s training session, according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia earlier today.

The report details how the 50-year-old Italian coach dedicated a few moments to the fans who were waiting outside of the gates at Appiano Gentile, watching the Nerazzurri’s training session. The former Juventus and Chelsea coach spoke to the fans and stopped for a few pictures, before heading home.

Inter were due to play league strugglers Sampdoria this evening, but the game was postponed due to fears around the spread of the deadly coronavirus, which is starting to spread quickly across Northern Italy. With cases in both the Lombardy and Veneto regions, the Italian government decided to suspend large scale sports gatherings in order to lower the chances of it spreading out of control.

Inter’s Europa League clash against Ludogorets on Thursday is now at risk of being played behind closed doors.
