The Inter squad will still undergo their training session tomorrow, despite the postponement of today’s league clash against Sampdoria, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how three Serie A matches have been postponed due to the rising infection rate of the Coronavirus in Lombardy and Veneto. Atalanta v Sassuolo, Verona v Cagliari and Inter’s league clash against Sampdoria will all be played at an undetermined later date. The decision was taken by the government in order to slow the spread of the virus.

Inter coach Antonio Conte had given his players a family evening last night, the report continues, and so they discovered the postponement whilst at home. The squad will undergo this morning’s training session whilst they wait to see what the decision of UEFA will be in regard to their Europa League clash against Ludogorets next week. There were extra security measures at the Suning Centre today, such as needing an identity card to enter.

There are few dates free for the game to be played on, the report highlights, with everything depending on how well the Nerazzurri do in the Europa League and Coppa Italia. If the Milanese side are eliminated from Europe then Wednesday’s will be free, except for April 22nd when SPAL host Inter. If Inter reach the finals of both the Europa League and Coppa Italia then the match will be played on either May 20th or after May 27th.
