A report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Corriere dello Sport has suggested that Inter’s Europa League clash against Ludogorets next week may be postponed due to the coronavirus.

The report details how three Serie A games have been cancelled today due to the spread of the coronavirus in the Lombardy and the Veneto region. Atalanta against Sassuolo, Hellas Verona against Cagliari and Inter’s league clash against Sampdoria tonight have all been postponed due to the virus.

Inter should play Bulgarian side Ludogorets in the San Siro on Thursday, the report continues, but now there are fears that the game will be affected by the virus. Some ideas include postponing the match or playing it behind closed doors, in order to ensure the safety of the fans.

Inter won the first game against Ludogorets in their stadium in Bulgaria 2-0 last week, with Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen and Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku both scoring.
