Following his earlier interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, Inter manager Antonio Conte has now spoken with Inter’s official club broadcaster Inter TV ahead of tomorrow’s Europa League round of 32 second leg match at home to Ludogorets.

He firstly spoke on what he and the team have done since their Serie A match at home to Sampdoria this past weekend was postponed due to the Coronavirus outbreak in Italy.

“It is a pity to not have played against Sampdoria but we have tried to take advantage of this forced rest to work on physical and tactical aspects,” the former Italian national team manager said.

Next he spoke on the match against the reigning Bulgarian champions that Inter head into in a commanding position following a 2-0 lead from the first leg that was played last week.

“I hope that the game is not underestimated, I have smart guys who know that the main thing tomorrow is qualifying for the round of 16.

“Every game has its potential pitfalls, we will have to take to the field with the right concentration knowing that there is an important goal in front of us.”

Conte was then asked about possible changes that could be seen in the team for the match at San Siro, which will be played behind closed doors.

“We have a squad of players and the Europa League is a competition that takes away a lot of physical and nervous energy. We will have to be good at rotating the team and getting everyone in the best condition.”

In conclusion he was asked about this coming Sunday’s Derby D’Italia against his former employers Juventus at the Allianz Stadium.

“Let’s just think about tomorrow’s game, it would be wrong to think about the next one. It would mean that we would not be concentrated. We have to go from game to game and the most important one is tomorrow because it allows us to move forward.”
