Giorgio Chiellini could come back into the Juventus starting line-up for Sunday’s Derby D’Italia at home to arch rivals Juventus according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

The veteran Italian national team centre back has only recently returned from a long term injury and has played in two of Juventus’ three matches since his return with the match he missed being last night’s 1-0 Champions League loss away to Lyon.

Despite not being in top condition yet having been out since August and only returning a couple of weeks ago, Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri could well opt to play him in the match against the Nerazzurri which could well be a decisive one in the Serie A title race.

The report from the Turin based newspaper goes on to state that both Gonzalo Higuain and Blaise Matuidi could join Chiellini in making a return to the starting line-up.
