Ionut Andrei Radu’s agent Oscar Damiani has suggested that his client is the future of Inter as part of an interview with Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.

The young Romanian goalkeeper is currently out on loan at fellow Serie A club Parma from the Nerazzurri and it has been widely reported in recent months that he will become the back-up goalkeeper to Samir Handanovic starting from next season.

Radu joined Parma on loan back in the recent January transfer window but is yet to have made his first appearance for the Ducali with Parma manager Roberto D’Aversa preferring Simone Colombi to him.

Damiani has admitted that it could be a long three months for his client until the season ends but he remains adamant that his client will show his worth next year.

“He is a great goalkeeper. We are waiting for him to get an opportunity at Parma, he is the future of Inter. Maybe it will be three months of sacrifice but next year he will demonstrate all of his quality.”

He also spoke on the situation that led to his client having to leave Genoa, where he spent the first half of the season on loan.

“It was a situation we had to get through. Radu deserved to play at Genoa but Perin’s arrival changed the cards on the table. They’re experiences. And as a former player myself, I can say that negative experiences such as this one will help you grow.”
