Lega Serie A will meet all the Serie A clubs in an emergency meeting on the 4th March, Wednesday next week, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how the League have communicated to the clubs that there will be an urgent meeting next week to examine the consequences of the government measures relating to the Coronavirus on the match schedule. The meeting will also determine when to play the various postponed matches.

There are already some ideas of when Juventus’ Derby d’Italia against Inter could be played, the report continues. One suggestion is that the game could be played on Wednesday or Thursday this week, thus postponing the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia. There is still no agreement just yet, however.

Inter were furious about the decision to postpone their league clash against Juventus, with some suggesting that the decision has benefited the Bianconeri.
