Inter are one of two clubs that are known to be keeping tabs on young Genoa midfielder Nicolo Rovella according to a report from CalcioMercato.com.

Premier League outfit Chelsea are also understood to be keen on the Italian under 19 national team player and have also sent scouts to the Stadio Luigi Ferraris in the hope of catching a glimpse of him.

Rovella has almost exclusively played for Genoa’s Primavera side this season but he has made two first team appearances as he came off the bench in a Serie A match against Inter and in a Coppa Italia clash with Ascoli.

The 18-year-old is still on a youth contract with the Rossoblu club who are scrambling to try and sign him to his first professional contract in a bid to deter the interest from the clubs mentioned above but Inter are refusing to give up in their bid to sign him.
