Oscar Damiani, the agent of Inter owned goalkeeper Ionut Andrei Radu, has spoken on the current situation his client finds himself in whilst out on loan at Parma.

Radu spent the first half the 2019/20 campaign on loan at Genoa but was recalled and sent out on loan to Parma for the second half of the season when it became apparent he would not be getting regular game time at the Rossoblu following the arrival of Mattia Perin.

With Parma number one Luigi Sepe being sidelined by injury, Parma moved quickly to recruit Radu but the Romanian national team shot-stopper has yet to play with Ducali boss Roberto D’Aversa having preferred to play Simone Colombi instead.

In an interview with Italian radio station Radio Sportiva earlier on this evening Damiani admitted he was not expecting things to pan out as they have done.

“None of us expected this situation, we believed that he would play at Parma. He is an intelligent boy and a great professional, he is not liking being on the bench but he will be ready if he is needed,” he said.

In conclusion he went on to confirm that the youngster will return to Inter at the end of the campaign and hinted that his client could be set to stay with Inter next season.

“He will return to Inter at the end of the season because I believe that Padelli’s contract is to expire.”
