Udinese midfielder Rodrigo de Paul has admitted that he is not thinking about where his future could lie and is currently entirely focused on the task at hand at the Bianconeri club.

The Argentine national team player has continually drawn links with other clubs for some while now with Inter among those clubs to have reportedly shown an interest in signing him.

The highly versatile 25-year-old has been at the Dacia Arena club since the Summer of 2016 when he arrived from La Liga outfit Valencia. He has been a key figure for Udinese in his time so far at the club and is seen by many as a big fish in a small pond.

“In Udine I’m fine. It’s true, in the last few transfer windows, and also in January, something had been in an advanced state, but then for different reasons nothing become concrete,” he explained in an interview with Argentine broadcaster TyC Sports earlier on today.

“For now I’m thinking only about Udinese and the national team. In June we will see what happens.”

This season he has made 23 appearances across all competitions to date. In little over 1800 minutes on the field, de Paul, who is under contract in Udine until the end of the 2023/24 season, has scored five goals and tallied three assists.
