Chelsea have set an asking price of €30 million for defender Marcos Alonso ahead of the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report from CalcioMercato.com.
The Spanish full back has found playing time hard to come by this term at the Premier League club under manager Frank Lampard and this has led to doubts being cast over his future with the club past the end of the current campaign.
As per the report, Inter are continuing to monitor Alonso’s situation with the London based club and could go back in for him this Summer having previously done so in the recent January transfer window.
Chelsea’s asking price at the time is understood to have put Inter off and it now remains to be seen if the reduced asking price could see Inter make a move for the former Fiorentina man.
The 29-year-old has made 19 appearances across all competitions to date this season in which he has scored four goals and provided three assists.
