Inter could potentially swoop in for Udinese star Rodrigo de Paul in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report from CalcioMercato.com.

Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio in particular is a long term admirer of the versatile Argentine midfielder, who is seen by many as a big fish in a small pond in Udine.

The Nerazzurri club have drawn links to de Paul in a number of the recent transfer windows but no moves have ever materialised although that could well change this Summer.

The 25-year-old has played as a central midfielder this year although he is more than capable of playing as an attacking midfielder or even out wide if required.

de Paul has been with Udinese since the Summer of 2016 and is under contract with the Dacia Arena club until the end of the 2023/24 season.

This season he has made 23 appearances across all competitions, in which he has scored five goals and provided three assists.
