The Coppa Italia final could be pushed back to August due to the lack of available dates for the semi finals to be played according to a report from the online edition of Italian newspaper La Repubblica.

Both of the semi final second leg matches that were due to take place last night and tonight were postponed as a result of the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak in Italy and it remains a complete mystery as to when they will be played.

La Repubblica suggest that the final, which is currently scheduled to take place on May 13 at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, could be moved to after the European Championship’s this Summer and played prior to the start of the 2020/21 season. If the final is moved to then, the semi final’s could be played in May.

As things stand, Juventus and Napoli have one foot in the final having recorded wins over AC Milan and Inter respectively in the first leg matches which took place last month.
