Journalists will be prohibited from attending the upcoming Europa League last 16 matches between Inter and Getafe according to a report from Spanish news outlet Cadena Cope.

The games are already due to take place behind closed doors as a result of the ongoing concern regarding the potential spread of Coronavirus both in Spain and Italy.

As per this report, the stadium will be absolutely empty unlike in other closed doors games where there has been journalists in attendance such as Inter’s recent 2-1 win over Ludogorets in the last 32 of the Europa League last week.

Inter are one of the favourites to go all the way in the tournament but will come up against trick opposition in Getafe, who are fighting for Champions League qualification domestically.

The first leg between the two sides is due to take place on March 12 at Inter’s San Siro stadium and the second leg is due to take place at Getafe’s Coliseum Alfonso Pérez stadium the following week.
