Juventus hope that Paris Saint Germain take up their option to sign Mauro Icardi on a permanent basis so they can attempt to sign him according to a report from CalcioMercato.com.

Icardi is currently out on loan at the reigning French champions from Inter and PSG can sign him up for €70 million come the end of the season.

The Bianconeri club are hopeful this happens as they have identified Icardi as a player who could bolster their attacking department as they are well aware the chances of agreeing any deal with arch rivals Inter would be nigh on impossible.

They currently have very good relations with PSG on the other hand and would even be willing to offer some players as part of any deal they offer for the 27-year-old striker, who has 20 goals in 31 appearances across all competitions to date this season.

As per the report, Juventus could well offer Miralem Pjanic or perhaps even Paulo Dybala, a player PSG have long shown an interest in.
