Inter captain Samir Handanovic will return for tomorrow’s Derby d’Italia against Juventus, according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia earlier today.

The report details how the 35-year-old Slovenian shot stopper, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2021, has missed the last six games due to a hairline fracture in his little finger. The number one has been missed by coach Antonio Conte, who hasn’t been fully convinced by the performances of back up Daniele Padelli.

Ahead of Handanovic will be Alessandro Bastoni, the report continues, alongside Stefan De Vrij and Milan Skriniar. Italian wing back Antonio Candreva will start over Danilo D’Ambrosio on the right. In the midfield there will be Matias Vecino, Marcelo Brozovic and Nicolo Barella, with Christian Eriksen starting on the bench. Ashley Young will start on the left side, with Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez starting up front.
