Inter coach Antonio Conte is still unsure about his starting eleven for the Derby d’Italia against Juventus tomorrow evening, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how Conte may deploy Italian defender Alessandro Bastoni ahead of former Atletico Madrid veteran Diego Godin for a few reasons. The first is that the 20-year-old is more suited to a three-man defense, a fact he’s shown many times in big games. The other reason is that the absence of fans removes Conte’s doubts that Bastoni may crumble under the pressure at the Allianz Stadium, with the Coronavirus emergency forcing the game to be played behind closed doors.

The other doubt is whether to deploy Danilo D’Ambrosio or Antonio Candreva on the right wing, the report continues. Conte may prefer D’Ambrosio so he can better handle Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo. On the left side Ashley Young is sure to start. Inter captain Samir Handanovic will return in goal, with Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez leading the attacking. In the midfield Conte will start Matias Vecino over Christian Eriksen, to play alongside Marcelo Brozovic and Nicolo Barella.
