A report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport has analysed Inter’s Derby d’Italia clash against Juventus tomorrow evening.

The report details how Juventus coach Maurizio Sarri will push the team to focus on a high-pressure game plan and to fight constantly for the ball in order to push high, with Argentine forward Paulo Dybala leading the offensive trident. Rodrigo Bentancur will be constantly marking Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic. Sarri’s typical 4-3-1-2 will be replaced with a 4-4-2, with a focus on canceling out Inter’s wing backs.

Inter coach Antonio Conte will focus on reducing the impact of a strong press on defender Stefan De Vrij and Brozovic, the report continues. He has several solutions, such as deploying Matias Vecino and Nicolo Barella in the midfield, who both push high, and by playing more on the wings with Ashley Young and Antonio Candreva. Then the Nerazzurri will play long balls for the attacking partnership of Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez to latch onto. Inter midfielder Christian Eriksen will start on the bench.
