Tonight’s Derby d’Italia between Inter and Juventus will be a duel between Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku and Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Stampa.
The report details how the Nerazzurri forward, who is contracted to the side until 2024, wants to score his first big game goal for the club. 12 out of his 17 league goals this season have been scored away from home, and so the former Manchester United striker is hoping to continue that away form tonight at the Allianz Stadium in Turin.
Ronaldo, who is contracted to the Bianconeri until 2022, has made 31 appearances across all competitions so far this season for the Turin based club. In that time, he’s scored 25 goals and provided three assists, being one of the most important part of coach Maurizio Sarri’s squad.
Lukaku has made 34 appearances across all competitions so far this season, scoring 23 goals and providing five assists in that time.
